Sharing

An elderly gentlemen and his wife were holding hands as they walked into a fast food restaurant. The old man ordered one hamburger, one order of French Fries and one Coffee as his wife stood beside him. The couple then went to a nearby table to eat.
The man unwrapped the plain hamburger and cut it in half. He then carefully counted out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed on pile in front of his wife. The pair each took a sip of Coffee before placing the cup down between them.
The people sitting around them kept whispering as the husband began to eat the few bites of the hamburger in his plate.
That poor old couple can only offord one meal for the both of them, Their fellow customers thought.
A young man came over to their table as the elderly gentlemen began to eat his fries. He politely offered to buy another meal for the husband and wife. The old man looked up and said "No thank you, we are use to sharing everything."
The surrounding customers noticed that the little old lady had not eaten a bite of her food. She sat there her husband eat but occasionally sipped on the cup of coffee.
Once again the young man came over and begged them to let him purchase them another meal.
"No, thank you," the wife answered this time. "We are used to sharing everything."
Then the young man watched as the old man finished his half hamburger and French fries and neatly wiped his face with a napkin. The little old lady still had not took a bite of her food, however.
"Are you alright ma'am?" the young man asked. "I noticed that you haven't eaten. What are you waiting for?"
"My husbands dentures," she smiled.

P.S. Happy first of August!!!!

Fun at our house

This is a picture of Ethan (aka Gomer) the other night when we had friends over. Josiah was on the drums (that's a JOKE! lol jk), and Zach was also there but we didn't get any pics of him. We sang along with Josiah's choice of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", "Curtis Lowe" (Skynyrd), more Skynyrd, and lots of other songs. If you can't tell, we LOVE Skynyrd. By the way, that's Landon's new electric Guitar that Mom and Dad bought for him.
